Latest stories:
Dayton named one of the "most livable hiking towns" in the country — Dayton is ranked in the top five of "America's 15 most livable hiking towns" and was among some of the most outdoor-centric destinations across the country in a recent article by the organization RunRepeat. The top-15 list specifically focused on locations where hiking destinations were easy to access, but also took into account the cost of living and other livability factors that would appeal to outdoor enthusiasts looking for a place to call home.
Get a sneak peek of the new STARZ drama “BMF” — Elevate Dayton’s Chanda Hunter got an early look at “BMF” and took some time to reflect on her thoughts and feelings. The eight-episode series is inspired by the true story of two brothers who rose from the decaying streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s and gave birth to one of the most influential crime families in the country known as the 'Black Mafia Family.' What struck Hunter was how “BMF” made her reflect on her experience growing up as a Black woman and the developmental experiences of Black children across America.
