Dayton Arcade to welcome downtown coffee shop expansion

Ghostlight Coffee plans to bring a new cafe concept to the Dayton ArcadeGather by Ghostlight will emphasize coffee and the traditions of European apero. The founder of Ghostlight Coffee, Shane Anderson, said in a release that apero is "a celebration of those blissful hours between work and personal time, and sharing these moments over a drink and a bite in good company." Gather by Ghostlight will offer a few of the shop's existing breakfast and pastry items as well as new brunch, lunch, and small plate options. In addition to a traditional espresso bar, Gather will also offer a "slow bar" where drinks are brewed-to-order using manual and automated methods. Both regular and zero-proof beer, wines, and spirits will also be available to guests. A portion of the space will also house the Dana L. Wiley Gallery - featuring Mike Elsass. The space will be host to programs and live music and serve as a catered event space. Gather by Ghostlight plans to open in early-to-mid summer of this year at 37-39 W. Fourth St. Once open, regular business hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
