Elevate Dayton Announces Official Media Partnership with The Dayton Q+ Youth Center

Dayton, Ohio – Elevate Dayton is proud to announce its official media partnership with The Dayton Q+ Youth Center Project The Dayton Q+ Youth Center Project is a grant funded SOGIE inclusive, LGBTQ+ coordinated, multi-generational, prevention education services project focused on promoting health equity, personal agency, autonomy and increasing access to resources for LGBTQ+ youth in Montgomery County, Ohio.

 

As the official media partner, Elevate Dayton will utilize its platform to showcase the stories, experiences and perspectives of LGBTQ+ youth, their families and community leaders. Dayton-area residents can expect to see written stories, videos, photo galleries and more highlighting the work and impact of the Q+ Youth Center.

Serving LGBTQ+ youth and families, The Dayton Q+ Youth Center, will provide youth-informed prevention education programs that encourage communication, create opportunities for connection, and aid in establishing a thriving community.


Through intergenerational connections, parent and youth groups, and partnering with local wellness programs, this space will encourage personal agency and positive youth development, thereby decreasing health disparities including suicide. The Q+ Youth Center is where youth can grow into healthy thriving citizens.

 

This partnership with Elevate Dayton will help the organization reach a wider audience and further promote their mission to create a supportive and affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth in the Dayton area.
