Dayton Metro Library will display submissions from their Teen Art Contest in the Main Library’s Patterson Opportunity Space from Tuesday, March 1 – Tuesday, March 22, for artists and patrons to enjoy.

“The Dayton Metro Library is so rich in artist talent and opportunity,” said Laura Chamberlain, Dayton Metro Library Teen Services Coordinator. “We encourage our youth to pursue their passions and are happy to have the opportunity to showcase their talents.”

Teens in grades 7-12 who live in or attend school in Montgomery County submitted work in two grade divisions: 7-9 and 10-12.

Winners in each age division and category will be notified no later than Monday, March 7, with gift card prizes being awarded soon after. One winner per age division in each of the following art categories will be awarded: photography, watercolor, selfie, oil and acrylic, 3D (sculpture, etc.), and mixed or other medium.

The exhibit will be available for viewing during Library operating hours.
