Launch Dayton Startup Week — Launch Dayton Startup Week is the Dayton region’s premiere opportunity for entrepreneurs to connect and network with both resource providers and fellow founders. This free, annual, week-long, entrepreneur-led, volunteer-run, community-focused conference from Sept. 13-16 brings together the region’s thinkers, dreamers, doers, makers, entrepreneurs and small business owners. Fall 2021 Explore Cohort — Join Aviatra Accelerators – Dayton for the EXPLORE® Accelerator Program. This is a nine-week bootcamp of learning, networking and relationship and business building. Pop Culture vs. Faith: “Selling Out” in the Music Industry? — GigMerge is having a virtual discussion on Sept. 15 from 7-8 p.m. about how faith and pop culture intertwine. With the release of Kanye West’s “Donda” album, the idea of ‘mainstream worship’ has become quite the topic of discussion. Wright State Arts Live! A Celebration of Fine and Performing Arts — This celebration will feature the Wright State University Jazz Band, Percussion Ensemble and Men’s Chorus from the School of Music as well as a Musical Theatre selection from the Theatre Department on Sept. 16 at 7 p.m. at Levitt Pavilion Dayton.

Generation Dayton Day — This year, Generation Dayton will focus its volunteer efforts on bringing awareness to the region’s digital divide on Sept. 17 from noon to 5 p.m. After a day of giving back, participants will celebrate with an after-party which includes food, drinks and raffle prizes for volunteers. MojoFlo Performing at Levitt Pavilion Dayton — In combining hard-hitting horns, seductive melodies and a meticulously crafted stage show, MojoFlo has built a fiercely loyal fanbase. This self-supported band tours routinely to bring their show to a national audience, with a local performance on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.
New Business Information Webinar — The online new business information session is a two hour, free seminar on Sept. 18 from 9-11:30 a.m. that will answer your questions about starting, buying or expanding a small business. The presentation will consist of an overview of issues related to starting and operating a business such as business and financial planning, market demand and financing. Hispanic Heritage Festival — Join the Hispanic Heritage Festival for a day-long celebration of Hispanic culture at RiverScape MetroPark on Sept. 18 from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. There will be a parade, live music, dancing, entertainment, authentic Latin food all day and much, much more.
Artist Talk: Nina Chanel Abney — Hear artist Nina Chanel Abney discuss her work on display at The Contemporary Dayton on Sept. 18 from 6-7:30 p.m. The talk with be moderated by The Co’s curator Michael Goodson with a live Q&A. Ohio Players Performing at Levitt Pavilion Dayton — The Ohio Players rose to fame in the 70s as pioneers of street funk and underground R&B. They are one of the few bands that still perform all their music without using any computers for enhancement. Their latest performance will be on Sept. 18 at 7 p.m.

Compensation is $800 per month.
