Online boutique owner plans first storefront for downtown

A local woman is opening the first brick-and-mortar location of her online shop in downtown Dayton. Erin Parrott has owned and operated After5, an online clothing boutique, since 2019. Parrott says she plans to open the first storefront for her business in the Fire Blocks District this summer.

After5 caters to women in their mid-20s to early 50s and offers a wide range of styles and sizes with plans to add more once the storefront opens. In addition to the boutique, After5 will also have a fulfillment center for online orders and a customer lounge for mingling, fashion consultations, and private events.

Parrott told the Dayton Business Journal that the location for her shop was an easy decision. "There was no question I was having it downtown... I didn't even look anywhere else." After5 is one of many recent additions to the Fire Blocks District and joins fellow new Third Street neighbors Salt Block Biscuit Co.Two Social, and Jollity

There is no set opening date yet for After5, but Parrott told the DBJ that her goal is to be "stepping into a whole lot of style by June."
