Choral music to jazz, gospel to Javanese gamelan, J.S. Bach to original electronic music, classic musical theatre to modern dance: this diverse and lively program celebrates the artistic accomplishments of University of Dayton students from the Department of Music, the Theatre, Dance, and Performance Technology Program and across the university.

At the University of Dayton, we believe in the power of the arts to transform lives and build community. We invite all students to participate in the arts and all members of our community to join us for this evening of music and dance that will move, inspire and uplift.

This evening’s Showcase of Music and Dance features the Symphonic Wind Ensemble, University Orchestra, University Chorale, Bella Voce, Ebony Heritage Singers, World Music Choir, Javanese Gamelan, University Jazz Band, Opera Workshop, UD Dance Ensemble, and UD Digit electronic music ensemble.

The Celebration of the Arts continues on campus throughout the semester with the Spring Dance Concert, The Sound of Music, the Horvath Exhibition and more ensemble concerts and student recitals.
