The Gem City Entrepreneur Resource Fair is back for its second year.

The fair will be on May 31, 2019, from 5:30–8 p.m. at Central State University – Dayton, 840 Germantown St.

The free event is geared towards millennial and minority entrepreneurs, but all are welcome to attend. A full lineup of resource providers are set to be at the fair including Startup Grind Dayton, The Entrepreneur Center, Downtown Dayton Partnership, Co-op Dayton, The ONEIL Center and the Minority Business Partnership at the Dayton Chamber of Commerce.

“The Gem City Entrepreneur Resource Fair was created to carve out an opportunity and space for those who have the resources and those who need the resources to connect under one roof,” said the fair’s founder and organizer KeAnna Daniels.

Several Dayton-area businesses and organizations have gotten behind the event. The fair’s sponsors include Indigo Life, Day Air Credit Union, Dayton SCORE, and IUE-CWA and Abbey Credit Union.

“We want to change the narrative that entrepreneurial and business resources don’t exist,” said Daniels on changing the culture in Dayton. “The reality is that they do and they are in abundance.”

The Gem City Entrepreneur Resource Fair is the first event to kick off Dayton Startup Week 2019, a week-long conference that brings entrepreneurs together in venues located across downtown Dayton. Attendees can register for the fair on Eventbrite. Read more about the fair in the Dayton Business Journal.
