The Global Village is an African American United Methodist Church Community Development Corporation and Church Cooperative sponsored by the Miami Valley Church District, the Western Ohio United Methodist Church Conference, and the Methodist Theological School in Ohio. The mission of the Global Village is to create faith-based education-driven pathways that will drive life changing worship, service, and stewardship that will revitalize church communities.

Global Village’s goal is to serve its church community by creating symbiotic partnerships between multiple faith-based service providers, consultants, and educational organizations who all have the unified mission of providing sustainable service offerings that will drive social mobility, build church best practices that will keep Ohio’s United Methodist Churches empowered especially during these COVID-19 strained and trying global political and economic times. Global Village also has a very strategic goal of raising church worship, awareness, and church participation at least 25% above what it currently is by the end of 2020.
