Wearing it well

They are not the typical T-shirts and hoodies. They deliver messages on the sleeves such as ‘I Am Loved,’ “I Am Worthy’ and ‘I Am Forgiven.’

It’s all part of Fully Loved & Free, an online company founded by Gracie Wyatt, a Wright State University communications major minoring in marketing.

“Fully Loved & Free means that everyone is loved and it costs nothing to love someone,” said Wyatt. “I sell clothing that spreads love and positivity.”

Wyatt grew up in Springboro, graduating from Springboro High School in 2018. She got into business that same year after she went looking for an apartment and noticed all of the blank doormats. So she began painting doormats, posted photos of them on Instagram and was encouraged to begin selling them.

Last year, she switched gears and began selling clothing, rebranding the company as Fully Loved & Free.

“I’ve always dreamed of being a small-business owner,” she said. “That was a goal of switching to clothing. But COVID sped up that process for me because it was the perfect time to do it. …I started selling clothes during COVID when it was really hitting hard. So it brought light to that.”

Wyatt buys the clothing, has a friend monogram it and then markets it on social media. More at @wsroom/2021/07/19/wearing-it-well/
